Whatever “camp food” means to you, get that out of your head! We do things differently at Falcon Camp. Before our campers ever arrive, we get our very own cow from which we supply our meat, so it’s fresh, organic and grass-fed. Additionally, all of our food is restaurant-grade, high-quality food that you’d probably never expect to find at a camp in the woods.

Our chef Shirley gets rave reviews from staff and campers alike on her beef stew, bread pudding, buckeye bars and many other famous recipes. Other examples of food that we serve:

  • Grilled cheese and tomato soup
  • Cheeseburgers
  • Spaghetti and meatballs
  • Salad bar
  • Chicken tenders
  • Tuna casserole

All of our meals are served family-style, meaning large serving dishes of food are sent to each table and the campers can dish out whatever food they like. In addition, there is always a separate salad bar that changes from meal to meal with delicious, fresh options.

My name is Shirley Voich. I’m from Ohio and I have worked at Falcon Camp for 18 years as a cook! I absolutely love all the staff, campers, counselors, and maintenance workers. It’s like one big happy family! I have seen kids grow from 8 or 9 years old to graduate, get married, have children (who also come to camp), and still hear from them!! A very happy, fun, learning, friendship-for-life experience!
